Adams Lake is an all-natural 308-acre, spring-fed lake with a dam, actually just about a tenth of a mile south of our cottage, that helps control the surface level of the lake. Much of the shore of Adams Lake has a nice, beach-like quality and is also one of the cleanest and clearest lakes in the state. A curfew of a 10 MPH maximum speed for boats on the lake is in effect from 6:00 P.M. until 10:00 A.M., daily. This helps fishermen on the lake get their fair share of peace and quiet for fishing, as well as controlling noise pollution in at night. The average depth of Adams Lake is 25 feet, with the deepest point being 93 feet almost dead center of the lake. The appropriately named Eve Lake, a small fishing lake, is located about a quarter of a mile northeast of Adams Lake. For almost everyone, Adams Lake is an ideal, peaceful place to visit or even have a lake cottage on, whether for living at year-round, or just to visit during the summer months.
